1983 old tree Liubao Dark Tea ( Special Grade ) 50g
Grade: Special Grade
Year: 1983
Aroma: Betel nut, floral and woody notes
Produced in 1983 from old-tree Guiqing cultivar leaves, this Liubao tea was crafted using traditional blending techniques. More than forty years of ageing have developed a layered aromatic profile: distinctive betel nut notes mingle with delicate florals and mellow wood, offering depth that unfolds with each infusion.
The dry leaves are robust and tightly twisted, with a lustrous dark-brown appearance and a scattering of fine hairs. Brewed with boiling water, they yield a deep, luminous red liquor. Full-bodied and smooth, the tea carries a pronounced betel nut character, followed by gentle floral notes and a lingering woody finish. The mouthfeel is clean, with a returning sweetness. The old-tree leaves lend substance and depth, sustaining a mellow richness across successive infusions.
Time has brought warmth, softness and complexity to this aged Liubao—a tea to savour slowly, appreciating its mature character and enduring depth.
