Description: Jade Oolong, sourced from Taiwan, is known for its distinctive jade color and delightful floral and buttery aroma. Grown primarily in the Mingjian Township of Nantou County, this tea is crafted from the Cui Yu cultivar. It is a lightly oxidized tea that undergoes medium roasting, offering a unique combination of creamy and floral notes.

Features:

  • Ingredients: Cui Yu (Green Jade) tea leaves from Taiwan

  • Process: Withering, rolling, light baking, medium roasting

  • Appearance: Small, tightly rolled green pearls

  • Liquor Color: Light yellow-green

  • Flavor: Floral and buttery with hints of pear and red berries

Brewing Instructions:

  1. Use 3-4 grams (a teaspoon) of tea leaves for 6-8 ounces of water.

  2. Heat water to 90°C (194°F).

  3. Steep for 3-4 minutes.

  4. For Gongfu style, use 6-8 grams of tea and steep for shorter periods, adjusting time for subsequent infusions.

  5. Enjoy multiple infusions to fully appreciate the evolving flavors.
