Building on a decade of curating crafts and cultural spaces across five locations in China, Yushu expanded to London in 2024. The original Yushu Tea Shop evolved into Yushu Tea Gallery in August, focusing on curated Chinese teas, artisan craft works, tea ceremonies, and exhibitions, celebrating the integration of traditional and contemporary tea culture.

Since 2024, Dan has started to create tea vessels using the Fuki-Urushi technique. Believing each tree holds a spirit, he embraces simple tools, primal methods, and perseverance and resilience required for mastery.

A £20 guided tasting of two premium teas, inviting newcomers and enthusiasts to explore flavour, history, and craftsmanship in a calm, welcoming space. Available year-round, with easy booking online or via Instagram.
Tea Ceremony
An appointment-only, immersive gallery ceremony featuring curated teas and artisan teaware. Guests may sit at the Chaxi or tea table as we present ceramics and steep each tea multiple times for a refined experience.
